RETURN & REFUND

POLICY

As we are dealing with customized and unique art pieces, BAFA does not entertain any exchange or return requests from the users. Products we trade and sell are unique and customized as per your needs and requests. For art pieces created on special requests, we will not be able to arrange for a return or refund as the artists have put in their best effort and time to make the artwork  for you. Once the order is placed, BAFA will not be able to change the order details in terms of color/size/art type. We ensure the art work is packaged well and thus the product is faultless when delivered.

BAFA adheres to the highest quality standards and takes great care in deliveries. In the rare instance you are not happy with your purchase, please note below the exchange policy.


Exchange

We want our customers to be happy, so we will do our best to ensure that you are pleased with your order. We will be able to take exchange requests if an incorrect product is delivered. Exceptions will be looked into on a case to case basis. In case the product has been damaged in transit, it will be considered after a few verifications have been done.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EXCHANGE
Your purchase may be eligible for exchange as per below criteria:
  • Home category products are not eligible for returns or exchange unless the product delivered has a quality/manufacturing defect OR has been delivered broken. Please photograph the defect as soon as you open the packaging.

  • Products purchased during sale period / discounted pricing, are not eligible for returns or exchange.

  • Accessories and Jewelry are not eligible for returns or exchange.

  • Customized products or special bulk orders are not eligible for returns or exchange.

  • International orders are not eligible for returns or exchange.

EXCHANGE PROCESS
If your purchase meets the exchange criteria above, please contact our customer care team within 7 days of delivery via any of the following channels:

  • For Damage/quality issues, please provide order number, date of transaction, delivery address and image of the defective item along with the packaging it was received in.

Our customer care team will investigate and revert within 2 working days. Upon receipt of communication from our customer care team, please follow the below steps:

In case of quality issue/defect:

  • Please pack the product in its original packaging along with the invoice, labels, tags, authenticity cards, bags, boxes, hangers and/or any other inclusions sold as a part of the purchase.

  • We will organize a reverse pick up from the address stated in your invoice

  • Upon receipt of the product at our warehouse, it will be subject to quality inspection and if it passes the inspection, a fresh piece will be dispatched to reach you within standard shipping timelines.

  • In the rare occurrence that a replacement piece is not available, a Credit note will be issued for the full amount for the damaged product.

  • Our credit notes can be used on any purchase till 1 year.  

REFUND POLICY
  • If your purchase meets the eligibility criteria stated above, we will happily exchange and offer a fresh piece.

  • In the rare instance we are unable to do so, we issue and email a credit note to the registered email address or the e-mail address used while making the purchase.

  • The credit note will be valid for 1 year  from the date of issue and can be redeemed easily.

  • In case of Damage or Missing Item for the ordered product in Category like Decor, Home Furnishing, Tableware & Kitchenware Customer has to raise a Ticket on the same day when product gets delivered. Post that Time Period no ticket or complaints will be entertained from BAFA Team. 

How will you be refunded?

We will refund the money once we are in receipt of the product in its original nature/condition. The refund shall be in the way the payment was made. If the payment was by Credit Card or Net-Banking, we will refund the Credit Card or Net-Banking account. If the payment mode was Cheque, we will send you a cheque. Cheques will be sent only to the billing address of the customer making the payment.

The refund process will be initiated once we have received the product(s), in proper and original nature. Typically refunds are processed in less than 10 working days but in case of payments by Cheque, it may take a few extra days for the cheque to be delivered to your billing address, and for the funds to be credited to your account, once you deposit the cheque.Please note that we shall not be responsible for any delays in credit to the Cardholder's credit card account as that is managed by the Cardholder's issuing bank.

 

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Orders once confirmed, cannot be amended.

  • Products purchased during sale period / discounts are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Products purchased prior to sale cannot be exchanged during sale period.

  • No refunds are entertained if the customer has provided a wrong or incomplete shipping address.

  • No refunds are entertained if there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or if the package is refused by the recipient.

  • No refunds are entertained for international shipments if the recipient refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment and does not collect the order from the Shipping agency.

  • Please ensure that the delivery received is in good condition and has not been tampered with, before you sign off acceptance.

  • In case of a damaged package, please retain the original packaging (along with price tags, invoices, labels etc.) until   our team reviews it. Additionally, please ensure to write “Received Damaged “on the delivery receipt when accepting and signing off with the courier partner.

Cancellation

Policy

We make every effort to fulfill all the orders placed. However, please note that there may be certain orders that BAFA is unable to process; and reserve the rights to cancel or reject the acceptance of such order and decision of BAFA in this respect shall be final and binding on the customer. The reasons include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product, pricing and stock information, problems identified by our credit, fraud avoidance department or due to certain unforeseen reasons.

Our Customer Care Team will communicate to you if all or any portion of your order is canceled. If your order is canceled after your credit card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed back in your Card Account.

The various Types of Cancellations would be :

 

Cancellation by Customers

We do not accept cancellation of customized goods as we immediately start processing the goods most of the time and there is a good chance we have already started processing the goods within a few hours of placing the order.

However If you change your mind after placing an order for any non-customized item, you can cancel the order (or part of the order) within 24 hours of the order confirmation. 

Orders during sale are highly discounted products and such orders will not be considered in the 24 Hours cancellation Policy.

Cancellation on Non-Receipt of Payment

In cases where the payment shall be made through CHEQUE, the delivery of the product shall be initiated only upon the realization of the cheque clearance from finance/agent. In case of the cheque bounces, the Order will be Canceled by BAFA.

Cancellation by BAFA

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a system error product information/Pricing, BAFA shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product.

BAFA reserves the right to cancel any order with due intimation to the concerned person, under situations where BAFA is not able to meet the requirement of the order placed. As a part of these additional security measures, BAFA might request customers to provide relevant supporting documents (Identity proof, Address Proof, etc). In case the requested documents are not shared with us, BAFA reserves the right to cancel the order entirely with due intimation to the concerned person.

In the event that a product is not serviceable to customers location (pin code) and an order gets placed due to system errors, BAFA shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product.

Shipping Details

Shipping Time

For delivery within India, BAFA will require 10- 12 working days to deliver the product from the date of order. For delivery outside India, BAFA will require 20 working days from the date of order. For custom made products or Bulk Orders to meet your requirements, we require a stipulated time of 15-20 working days to create the artwork along with the additional time of shipping the product as mentioned above, depending on the destination of the delivery. 

Shipping & Payment

We ship through registered and trusted courier partners for orders within India as well as overseas. For shipping timelines, please refer to the product descriptions page for each product.

 

*Please note that Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays are not set as working days for standard deliveries.

*On all domestic or international Bulk orders, shipping rates will be directly communicated to the customer by the BAFA team.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

  • We offer free shipping for all domestic orders above INR 20,000.

  • For orders under INR 20,000, shipping and handling rates vary based on the product size and volume, the packaging required and the shipping destination. The final shipping and handling charges can be seen at checkout after providing the shipping address.

  • The deliveries are dispatched to the shipping address recorded at checkout.

  • All orders are processed from our warehouse in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

  • Free shipping does not apply to chandeliers and heavy weight items.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
  • Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order and are applicable over and above the shipping charges paid at checkout.

  • The deliveries are dispatched to the shipping address recorded at checkout.

  • Most countries charge duties on imported items which are levied at the time of port entry, and they vary based on the destination country and the products imported.

  • Customers pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency at the time of order delivery. If a customer refuses to pay these charges and therefore delivery is not possible, no refunds will be entertained. You may refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for more details.

  • All orders are processed from our warehouse in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

 

TRACKING AND DELIVERY:
  • Post shipping, the details of tracking number and information of the shipping agency will be shared via email.

  • Orders can be tracked using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping partner’s website.

  • Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package three (3) times before its returned to us. In case it is returned to us after 3 attempts, no refunds will be entertained. Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for more details.

  • Please ensure the complete shipping address including zip code and a mobile number to ensure hassle free delivery.

  • In case of failure to deliver due to incorrect details, no refunds will be entertained. Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for more details.

 

MODES OF PAYMENT:
  • For Domestic orders, we accept all major debit & credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express), Net Banking options across major banks as well as recognized Wallet & UPI options. Alternatively, we also accept payments via NEFT or IMPS.

  • For all International transactions, we accept major payments via TT (PayPal) and LC Method.

  • American Express credit cards may not be accepted for some transactions, due to some technical issue with our payment partners. However, American Express card transactions can be routed through PayPal accounts.

  • Please Note: As per RBI regulations in India, all credit and debit cards issued in Indian Territory cannot be used for transactions in international currency by default unless overridden by the card holder explicitly with the bank.

Credit/Debit Card Details

You agree, understand and confirm that the credit card details provided by you for availing of services on HomeTown.in will be correct and accurate and you shall not use the credit card which is not lawfully owned by you, i.e. in a credit card transaction, you must use your own credit card. How do I know that my Order has been confirmed?

Once you have completed the payments process and an authorization has been received you will be navigated to a Thank You page on our website where you will be able to see your Order Confirmation details. You would also receive an SMS & an E-mail confirmation for your order on your registered mobile number & email id.

Can I order a product that is "Out of Stock"?
Unfortunately, products listed as 'Out of Stock' are not available for sale. Please use the 'Notify Me' feature to be informed of the product's availability.

How do I check the current status of my Orders?

How do I pay using a Credit or Debit Card?
We accept payments made by credit/debit cards issued in India.

Credit cards
We accept payments made using Visa & MasterCard credit cards/Amex.
To pay using your credit card at checkout, you will need your card number, expiry date, CVV number. After entering these details, you will be redirected to the bank's page for entering the online 3D Secure password.

Debit cards
We accept payments made using Visa, MasterCard and Maestro debit cards.

What are the EMI Options available?
BAFA does not offer you EMI facility. BAFA only offers an installment option in case of bulk orders.
